SNVRKOTICS today opened sync licensing for its catalog at sync.snvrkotics.com. Music supervisors, editors and producers can license recordings for film, advertising, podcasts, social and online video, with a published rate for the standard uses and a direct enquiry for anything the standard terms do not fit.
Standard licenses
Each recording carries a published rate per use. Every recording is one-stop: SNVRKOTICS owns the master and the publishing, so a license clears both with one signature and is issued the moment it is paid — there is no second rights-holder to wait on.
Custom licenses
A production that needs something the standard terms do not cover — a longer term, a broader territory, an exclusive, a cut-down or a re-record — sends an enquiry from the quote page. It reaches a person, and the reply is a quote rather than a form.
What a supervisor gets
Every recording's page lists its writers, publisher and performing-rights organisation, which is the information a supervisor otherwise has to chase down before a license can be drawn up. Stems download with the license where the recording has them.
