SNVRKOTICS today released multi-distributor consolidation in its royalty statement reader. An artist or label running two distributors at once, or switching from one to another, can import every statement into one workspace and read the whole catalog in one view — by store, by territory, by recording, by period and by distributor.
What it does
Statements import as the distributor exported them. The reader detects DistroKid and AWAL exports by their headers and reads any other CSV that carries an ISRC and an earnings column. Money is kept in integer cents from the first row to the last figure; sub-cent lines, which are most of a streaming statement, are rounded rather than truncated so nothing is lost across tens of thousands of rows.
Where two statements cover the same month, the overlap is flagged above the totals rather than silently summed. Where a month is missing between the first and the last, that gap is flagged too — a statement nobody downloaded is money nobody has looked at.
Units a distributor labels fraudulent or unqualified are split out of every unit total and kept in the detail, so reach is not overstated by plays a platform has already refused to pay for.
The combined workbook
Every workspace can export one consolidated workbook across all its statements. It follows the shape of the consolidated reports rights bodies issue: a Summary of headline figures, one breakdown sheet per dimension, a Transaction Detail sheet in which every row carries its source statement, and a methodology sheet. Every summary figure is a live formula over the detail, so the workbook still reconciles after somebody corrects a row.
What it will not do
The reader does not recommend a distributor and never will; the moment it did, a reading of somebody's own statement would become an advertisement. It does not compute a per-stream rate, because units mix streams, downloads and video views by store and that quotient does not mean what it appears to. And it does not pool anybody's statements into a benchmark: the consolidation runs on the workspace's own rows, under row-level security, for that request.
